WTF deviantART

Today I wrote a huge rant about what DeviantArt has become in my eyes. Seems like most of the time deviants only seek praising or admiration from other users, and despise constructive criticism. I was wondering why.

Also I feel there is a lot of elitism in some groups that I don't agree with. I thought DA was for networking with other artists who share your passion whether they have great technique or not.

I feel so inspired each time I visit a random gallery, it doesn't matter if he/she is a beginner or an experienced artist.

Its a great feeling when deviants comment and help each other. Maybe I was wrong from the start, but that was my main reason to join the community: to meet people who share my interest for comic and illustration from all over the world.

Dibujos viejos... danger! ¡no tocar!

No sé por qué me dio por arreglar dibujos finalizados. Al fin y al cabo son la prueba de que ha habido cierta evolución y es normal que veamos muchos más fallos que entonces.

Primero la tomé con "Battousai x Tomoe 4ever!!" A ratos me puse a mejorar algunos detallitos, más que nada el color, que no me gustaba del todo. No iba a tocar nada más pero una cosa llevó a la otra y cuando me vi cambiando la mitad del dibujo decidí parar antes de volverme loca. ;___;

El siguiente dibujo es de la protagonista de mi proyecto final del ciclo de ilustración, a base de collage digital en Photoshop. Como lo hice a las prisas, no me quedé satisfecha y trataba de hacer una "Patito versión 2.0."

Cuando te obsesionas tanto con un dibujo al final no consigues ver lo que no funciona, pero sabes que algo está mal. El pato no consigo que quede "natural" el rollo de las patas y la posición, así que, mis conejillos de indias, necesito que respondan/ais a la pregunta:

¿Qué es lo que se ve raro exactamente?
